Our Mission
At Mary of Nazareth Parish, we strive to be a vibrant and dynamic community of faith, rooted in the Gospel, and inspired by the example of Mary, our Mother. Our mission is to foster a deep and personal encounter with Jesus Christ, and to empower all members of our parish to live out their baptismal call as disciples of the Lord.
A New Parish is Formed
Mary of Nazareth Parish came into existence in the years 2007-2011, when the former Bishop of Brooklyn, The Most Reverend Nicholas DiMarzio, merged the parishes of Sacred Heart (founded 1871), St. Michael-St. Edward (founded 1890), and St. Lucy-St. Patrick (founded 1845). More History
